Can't BYU fans let Weber have any media attention at all without trying to knock a nice, positive article or player? Lillard certainly is NOT Jimmer, thank goodness. Lillard is a complete, team player, not just a scorer. This is apperant with his 15 pt double-double vs BYU in Provo in the worst overall game played this season by Weber and Lillard. No, Lillard couldn't carry a team that was minus 2 starters and dealing with a flu bug. It's one bad loss but not a big deal. Weber will still have a fine year and it will be a fun bonus if Lillard continues to lead the nation in scoring. Oh, and FYI, Jimmer is a pro player while Lillard is a Junior in college ( and NBA prospect) and are completely different players, so enough with the comparitive trash talk.

@eceryda dude youre foolin yourself. this kid isnt jimmer by any means cause he actually passes the ball, rebounds, defends, can jump, get others involved at all times not just himself. this kid could have gone to the league last year after his sophomore year he won the player of the year as a FRESHMAN. he will make a better guard in the league than jimmer will. all jimmer wants to do is shoot from half court thats it, this kid can do it all. your a typical byu fan lol. all jimmers recognition was for his shooting and pts as a point guard. yeah not gonna work in the leauge.

Congrats to Lillard. As we are talking about Jimmer, even though he shot many more times than Lillard does, at least he also did AS Lillard is in leading his team in assists. Isn't it great that last year and this that the leading scorer in the nation plays in UTAH? Go cats, aggies, cougars and hopefully also the utes.

This kid is NO Jimmer. When he can drop 50 on a team that doubled him and put a bigger athletic dude on him than you can compare him to Jimmer. This kid couldn't carry his team during a bad shooting night from his team mates @ BYU. I seen Jimmer do this many times at BYU.

Funny, didn't take the "team" last year when Jimmer hucked up 30 shots a game. Unlike Jimmer, Lillard realizes when he's double-teamed and tries to pass to the open player. If they can't hit the shots, that's not his fault. Also, he can play defense, rebound, and pass--unlike Jimmer. BYU plays well in their barn--no mistaking that.

Wildcats will be just fine. GO WILDCATS!

He definitely was the best "player" on the floor vs BYU. But unfortunately for Weber St, BYU was by FAR the best TEAM on t. That showed in the fact that BYU smothered Lillard and ended up blowing them out easily. Good player, but like BYU last year, not enough talent surrounding him when they run into any decent "team" that doesn't rely on one superstar. I will take the "team" over the superstar any day. Good article, though.
