I would agree. Where is Tomic? In May, there was info on his resigning with Real Madrid and then nothing. I would urge everyone to be aware of Bradley Beal of Florida, Gatorade high school player of the year 2011 from St. Louis Chaminade (David Lee alumnus). He will be "one and done". He should be put on a Christmas "must have" list. He would be the finishing touch on a non "rebuilding" Jazz squad with Favors and Kanter being the major chess pieces. I would like to see Tyler Hansbrough (Sikeston, Mo., UNC) and David Lee be considered for trades.

i think...a trade for Kirk Hinrich would be good for us....Hinrich isnt your typical PG...but he plays good D and can stroke it from deep...plus he has height for the position...he could be the starting PG...Devin Harris for Captain Kirk + a draft pick?

What has happened with Tomic? We don't even hear his name, any more. I know the Jazz already have too many bigs but this guy was supposed to be the future.

Re: UgottaloveMaxie How about the LA Lakers. Mr. Fisher is hardly an "all-star point guard". He is serviceable and competent, and if the Jazz could get that from Mr. Harris and Watson, and develop an inside defensive presence, which they have not had in a long time, they could compete very, very well.

Re: Old Timer - Ya, I'm excited to but we won't be a contender until they can bring in some quality free agents, and get a superstar point guard. Name a team that has won without a star point guard. It's a guard's league now. should be fun to see them play though and watch them come together. I think within in a 2-3 years we can compete in the conference but don't think Miller's have the money or the O'Conner has the vision to see this go all the way.

I do not approve of signing Josh Howard and see no point in bringing him here... we have gordan hayward, cj miles, and Alec burk already, why would you bring in a veteran to take time away from developing your young talent? Plus Howard is coming back from a serious injury and he's had marijuana trouble in the past. Doesn't seem to be the high character type to fit at Utah. I'd rather see Kirilenko back.

Hopefully all of the negativity regarding the whole lockout issue has passed because I'm one fan ready for NBA basketball to resume. Being that we have no quality teams in our state in college basketball I'm hoping that our Jazz will fill that empty plate.
This young team has me excited. I believe without doubt that they can and will be a serious contender for a title soon. We have the neucleus of everything needed to do that. Size, depth, athletism, and I believe shooters that will be better than expected. Add to that a very quality coaching staff and my cup runs over with excitement. Go Jazz, work hard, and good luck!

My Christmas wish list - amnesty Raja Bell, DO NOT KEEP Tinsley, sign Howard, please!!!! Come on O'Conner & Greg Miller, let's put a team together to compete. Do what you have to do to sell tickets and make your fans happy. You can afford a million here and a million there extra.
