...That's a nice slap in the face comment you give to Hays. He IS your ONLY starting QB as if you really had one in the first place...

hahaha....if Utes did not have a starting QB in the first place, and yet Utes destroyed BYU 54-10...what does that say about your team?

It's not a slap to Hays.
Hays has stepped in and dis doing nicely now--much improvements since he first
    stepped in the starting role.

But...if Utes did not lose Wynn, that would be 2 more wins out of UW, ASU and Cal.

So even with all injuries, if they play again now, Utes will still come out
on top 64-0 (Utah D is much improved now as well).

hahaha, I can't wait until next September so that Utes can beat BYU again.

insecure coug fan contradicting himself. if it isn't about money then why does byu still push for acceptance into a bcs conference? and don't say exposure, either. even the most stalwart latter-day saint knows that exposure = more money.

Finishing 8-4 would put Utah ahead of UCLA, ASU, and CAL. If Utah comes out on the downside of a conference tiebreaker, but has a better overall record, it will be because Utah won their non conference games.

Pitt and BYU were road victories as good as a win against Washington would have been in the PAC 12. I would swap a Washington win for a Pitt one. The Washington game was dominated by Utah in the first half. Yet they trailed 10-7. At the half Utah found out Wynn was going to be out because of the left shoulder.

Hays has grown each time he steps on the field, but that second half against Washington was a situation where he had no chance. Hays took his first division one snaps there.

...insecure Ute fan about his bowl money. It ain't about the money. Never has been.

"Rose, Alamo or Holiday will be just fine for first year Utes that have had to play without starting QB all but first 3 games."

That's a nice slap in the face comment you give to Hays. He IS your ONLY starting QB as if you really had one in the first place.

Be it so lucky that Wynn went down as early as he did to pave way for someone that can take a hit once in a while.

Fiesta: Standford seems like a lock
Rose: winner of Oregon-Utah (conf championship game)
Alamo: loser of Oregon-Utah (conf championship game)
    Holiday: Washington
    Sun: ASU
    LV: UCLA
    Kraft: Cal

Rose, Alamo or Holiday will be just fine for first year Utes that have had to play without starting QB all but first 3 games.

All of Pac-12 bowls have payout more than the 600K by the helicopter bowl.

Yes - nay of these bowls would be terrific. Fun season - fun team. Thanks to the players and a special call out to Hayes...way to step in, learn the system and play good ball. You should be very proud.

Hopefully the Utes stay focused for Friday!

    Go Utes!

Go Utes. Win the Rumble in the Rockies and stake your claim to the Pac-12 South. Dare Arizona State later on Friday and then UCLA on Saturday to take that claim from you.

Even with the disappointing losses, this has been a spectacular season to watch from a fan's point of view. Watching this team fight back and not lose its fire is something that fans really appreciate. It's great to know that we have great coaches and great leadership in this program. They have done it against the lower 2/3rds of the conference, but they have done it all the same, with a questionable quarterback to boot. Thanks Utes for a great season.

Any four of the bowls mentioned (Sun, Holiday, Alamo, and Rose) sound good to me. They are all a step up from what we got in the MWC. Things really are a lot more fun in the PAC 12.

    Go Utes!

Truly shows just how good the PAC 12 was this year in football with 8 teams with 6 wins or more although USC can't play in a bowl. Makes Utah's run that much more impressive.

I for one have had as much fun watching Utah football this year as in any year I can remember. Playing better competition week in week out has been awesome. No more UNLV's, New Mexico's, Wyomings, and CSU's. I can honestly say there was not one week this year I didn't look forward to. And to top it off, we have the Alamo, Sun or Holiday Bowl to look forward to whereas the MWC champ gets the Vegas against a 6-6 UCLA, Cal, or ASU. Of course then theres that Bell Helicopters Armed Forces Bowl.....

    GO UTES!!!
