Webb says that America is now a Center-right nation but my opinion is that it closer to Center-left. How could a Center-right nation of voters elect Barak Obama and, even after all he has done to bring us to the far left, still give him support of just under 50%?

Some of the things we saw in last week's election like Pearce's defeat and the pro-union votes are mostly due to massive amounts of money put into special type elections by knee-jerk liberal groups that can pull a certain percentage of middle of the road voters.

This nation has gradually gravitated to the left on many fronts from illegal immigration to large private sector bailouts and stimulus spending.

As usual, a lot of good thinking here. Now how do we turn this into action?

The Chaffetz plan will have seventy-year-old people clinging to their jobs, locking young people out. The only problem with Social Security is the baby boom, and that's a temporary cash-flow problem that will resolve itself in time.
