Remember, Provo scheduled 7 games at home, with only 5 away games. That in itself makes the schedule suspicious. Sportsline has BYU's strength of schedule at 97th today. 96 teams have played tougher schedules, including the Utes, even if the last four are the easiest in the league. They are four more games against BCS opponents. That was the worst TCU team they have fielded in the past five years. They lost 16+ starters off of their Rose Bowl squad. BYU played against freshmen and sophomores and still got beat. Young teams make mistakes, like when they get up 35-10, instead of putting the game away they lose focus, which allowed Provo to appear as if they were threatening. The reality is not that Provo was able to play with the Frogs, it is that the Frogs are not that great and Provo still was not able to win a big game. Bronco's words after the game sound like they won the game. We all love each other and we are so proud of the effort. That is great, but that is not going to help the Cougars "Rise Up" out of non-BCS land, not gonna cut it

Rock within your first paragraph you expose you bias distain for the Utes.

Fact is, Utah is PAC 12, BYU is nothing right now. Get over it.

Anyone with intelligence right now understands the dilema the Utes have with their Q position.

Utah won their PAC 12 game with Q problem, what have your Band of Lil Brother done with 2 decent Q's?

Hang in there Band of Lil Brothers!

And I don't expect you to post this, Ego blocks your rational thought process.

    Re: Henry Drummond

The Utes will probably lose 1 more game.
The defense should be good enough to beat colorado by themselves.

The other 3 games could go either way. The other teams are very inconsistent. WSU lost at home to Oregon State by 22, but yesterday WSU played Oregon very tough @ eugene for 2 1/2 quarters.
UCLA got killed by Arizona last week, but put the hurt on Cal this week.

If the Utes win 2 or more games in their next 4, they are likely to go to the Vegas bowl.
They would play the loser of the TCU vs Boise State in the Vegas bowl.

The Utes are 4-4. That's about where they were expected to be at this point in the season. The difference is they were supposed to lose to BYU and PITT while beating Washington and CAL. The remaining schedule suggest Utah can win out. This is life in a power conference folks. There's no going back. You can rack up wins easily in the WAC or MWC but who cares? If you are really into football, this is the challenge you want, and you're willing to take you're lumps along the way.

Good win Utes. I don't know why Rock is writing an article about the Utes and not his precious Cougars. Not the prettiest win, but we'll take it!

Great win. 35 carries for White IV. Again, too many carries. I get it, White is the key to victory from an offensive standpoint. But if he goes down, then what? John Hays IV at RB. The thing tonight that got me was having White carry the ball 7 straight times with three minutes left. It was 24-8 at the time. The game was over. Put in Langi or somebody.
