Your chances of being poisoned by E. coli, salmonella or other bacteria is about
10 times higher with organically grown food than conventional food. The reason
is contamination from animal by products used as fertilizers on most
organically grown foods. I am in no way opposed to organic food, just saying we
need to be careful with it, cook it well done and wash it well in anti-bacterial
detergents! E.coli is especially dangerous and can cause serious kidney
damage,especially elderly and infants! Been there done that!
