A worf, even Riley Nelson said he threw the ball up for grabs, calling the completion lucky. Most people agree.

The Aggies are DEFINATLY Turning The Corner to be a Top 50 Program! Anyone who thinks differently is CRAZY!!! They came within 2 plays of beating Auburn IN Alabama! They played for a win in OVERTIME by going for two rather than another overtime against Colorado State, That TOOK GUTS!!! They nearly beat BYU two years in a Row, and the Utes are afraid to play them this year! Now I believe comes the Conference Schedule? The only team I think they will not win is against Boise State! Other than that I think Utah State can beat every other oponent they face for the rest of the year!

    Ted H,

The winner of any close game could be called lucky, but a ninety four yard drive with less than two minutes in a game, does take some skill. The Aggies played very good and will win the WAC a and bowl game.

If your team learned to play all 60 minutes, it would be the best team in the State. You have an outstanding quarterback and runningbacks. You should be able to control the rest of your schedule.

I wish that the Cougs had #6. He has the size of an NFL fullback, and the speed of a NFL runningback. He is the best runningback in the State. Anyone know what how many years he has left?

I'm glad that the Cougs woun't have to play USU when their defense plays half as well as their Offense. They will slaughter future teams.

Let me quote a Ted H. post from another story about the game (yes, he is posting the similar comments in every story about the game, such an example of not letting hatred get to him isn't he?) "I love knowing how you feel tonight, enjoy conference tomorrow." Sounds like he is the pot calling the kettle black, without excusing any insults, it is comments like that from a few that can make all of BYU athletics (and their fans) a target.

As an Aggie Fan I'm thrilled that it was Rylee who led the last drive. He's a great kid and deserves the success, it was a shame to lose him to the bench. It was a great game, hopefully this turns into a great rivalry. Looking good
Ags! Keep the chins up, got a conference title and bowl game to win!!!!

@ Ironmomo....I don't have to come up with a comment....when you personally know Anderson and get him into a one on one, you will know how much he hates BYU...I won't go into details as to how I know him because you wouldn't believe it anyway. Here's a hint though...Idaho State. Not delusional here...heck we won the game for goodness sakes. Oh well, I guess it's hard to except after a loss so I understand. Hope you guys are undefeated the rest of the year.

nunya perhaps you could favor us with maybe one comment Coach Gary Anderson directed towards BYU, the school, the team, the coaching staff or anyone about hating them. I won't wait for a response because I know you can't produce one. Pathetic, yes you are right on that one. So with that we'll move on with the assumption that you suffer from the same delusion as Ted. If you're not for BYu you hate Byu. No, again I reiterate, we don't hate Byu regardless of the peculiar temperament demonstrated by a few of their fans who somehow translate fans supporting a team other than Byu into a Byu hate concept.

@ Smokin' Joe....I agree with you. Either way....I will always have more respect for USU then I will ever have for the uties because of there fan base. In general, USU's fan base is way better then even BYU's, but obviously my allegiance is to BYU so hence I may overlook the vitriol that comes from their/our mouths.

Good luck again to USU...you guys will dominate sooner then later with a qb like you have now. He is a scrapper, I love that about him...funny it's the same thing I love about Nelson.

Ted, most Aggie fans are Mormons, just like you. We don't HATE BYU. We do hate some actions they have taken in the past that have been hurtful to their Aggie brothers. So lighten up a little. Take a deep breath. It's football we're talking about here.

I am a Cougar fan 1st and foremost, but do also really like the Aggies. The Aggies have totally legit backs! I mean seriously who scores on the first play of the game? That was an incredible play.
Anyway after the game as I walked past some Aggies fans I said "Good game guys, it was sure fun to watch." as I shook their hand and walked out of the stadium.
    GO Cougars, and Go Aggies!

You are the stereotypical byu fan....the reason USU fans react the way they do.

Fortunately, some of us USU fans know there are REAL byu fans versus the fans like yourself.

"Your bitterness & jealousy make me very happy"....You need some help if those kinds of things make you happy versus just your team winning!!!

It is the "natural man" that makes us act this way. In fact, my son was heart broken the Aggies lost. I told him, however, when his friends "tease" him about the lost just say, "It was a great game" cuz' if you don't you just sound a byu fan!!! Thanks for proving my point.

In response to Nunya and Ted: USU fans (of which I am one) need to be honest with ourselves here: some of our fans have been truly classless at times over the years---the obscene T-shirts with the word-play on BYU's name and a certain obscenity is a perfect example. We should not tolerate the obscene gestures and obscene T-shirts in our stadium. Why? Apart from evidencing a complete lack of class, it is a sign of a loser mentality. In essence, it stands for the proposition that if you cannot win on the field, resort to name calling. When you show up with obscene T-shirts or slogans directed at the other team you also advertize a massive inferiority complex. Let the Utah fans do that. USU fans should be made of better stuff. In that narrow regard, I concur with Nunya and Ted H.

Ted H is absolutely right on this one. I have always disliked Utah and have had more respect for USU and your fan base....but this last few years or so, I have seen more hate and negatives out of you guys for BYU then I've ever seen. And hey IRONMOMO...sorry bud but USU is still no competition for BYU in football and basketball...but good try though...anyway, this isn't about competition wise, it's about your hate for BYU and I honestly think it started when coach Anderson came on board. Pathetic isn't it?

With that said, I love how USU competed in this game....I love Keeton and the fight he has in him...nothing like our weakling qb heaps. Your RB's are the best I've seen this year, hands down. I wish you guys luck the rest of the year and hope you guys win the WAC.

I have always followed BYU football; however, this year has been a bit different. I have one daughter at the Y and another daughter at USU so I found myself very neutral last night. I like what is happening in Logan and I was very impressed by the talent and heart the Aggies showed last night. And, their coaching is classy! I just hope they don't thow in the towel. They will make some noise in the WAC and will go to a bowl this year! Go Blue!!!

So Ted H. I take it that you're a closet Aggie fan? Perhaps it's time you came out of the closet.

No Ted Aggie fans don't hate "all things Byu". Sorry we just can't support your good vs evil martyr complex. We don't hate the Byu professors, the Byu band, the Byu Cheerleaders, the Byu campus etc. We do however hate Cosmo's guts, but then...everyone hates Cosmos's guts, right?

I'm speculating you're trying to reconstruct your good vs evil notions with another University because of the major beat down handed to you two weeks ago by your biggest rival. Sorry you've come to the wrong house.

Aggie fans know that they can now compete with Byu in football and basketball year in and year out which I'm sure grinds against Byu fans; especially when you consider the difference between USU's and BYU's athletic budgets.
The angst and trepidation of Byu fans not knowing where their program is headed is sensed by many. Are they going to a major conference? Are the costs vs the returns of trying to be a major BCS competitor in football too much for a faith based school to bear? Only time will tell.

What is wrong with the Aggies? Auburn. Lost on mental mistakes. CSU. Should have stopes being conservative and go for the tie. Should have won last night. Is this Aggie luck?

Ted, what bitternes and jealousy? What a truly classless post.

I have always cheered for the Aggies big time in basketball and football. Recently I have noticed more than ever the little brother bitterness and hatred for all things Byu. So its sort of nice to be able to be able to laugh with this one. Turbin is a monster. Byu is admittedly not very good this year. But I love knowing how much Aggies hate Byu. I love knowing it upsets you so much that Byu got a lucky win. And I absolutely love it infuriates you riley nelson was the reason. Your bitterness and jealousy makes me very happy tonight. Thanks Aggies!

Thank you for publishing an article about Utah State. Please keep them coming. The only thing that makes me feel a tiny bit better tonight is that our guys won't give up and still intend to win the WAC.

This one will hurt for a while, but a win over Wyo will help. Hang in there Aggies.
