If BYU can run the football - at least 150 yards - then Heaps will throw for at least 250 yards and probably more. The run game has been horrible this year for the Y with a sluggish O-line and running backs that don't exactly explode to the hole. Everything depends on the run game. If USU holds BYU to less than 100 yards running then I predict USU wins a close one. If BYU can break out of the run slump plus get a special teams play - long run back , turn over or score then the Y should win by at least 14 at home.

prediction: Being at home will help the Y but USU is a better overall team.

The Heaps wagon still has wheels? Player to watch? really? Not Apo?

I guess we can all watch Heaps to see what kind of self inflicted wounds he puts on his own team. Probably what the writer meant.

If Apo doesn't play much and the BYU D gets penalized for their cheap shots, USU will win this game.

USU Offense has played against tougher D lines and linebackers and better secondaries, so they won't be intimidated. LES is not a hard place to win in either.

All that said, I think BYU runs the ball more with their big O line opening up holes for 3 and 4 yard pick-ups. This will ultimatley win the game for BYU. ...and the fact they don't give Heaps too many chances to throw into coverage.

In order for BYU to win, they will need to score more points.

In order for USU to win, they will need to score more points.

I know it's a long shot but I predict whoever scores more points will win.
