Silly boy. Mildred is excessive in his/her sarcasm and it's fairly obvious. I am excessive in my optimism and that's also fairly obvious.

Your reading for content is weak.

Thanks for the compliment, but I must decline, under the circumstances. There is no evidence you understand what logic is.

Brilliant logic, brought to you by Diet Coke.

Otis, that schtick was already old when Mildred adopted it. There's only room for one Ernest, and sometimes not even him.

Come on BYU fans, cut Utah some slack. They have a long history of being as good as they need to be, sprinkled with being not quite good enough against BYU and occasionally being down right awful against the likes of UNLV.

I really am looking for a monumental battle, their O line -vs- our D. Irresistible force meets immoveable object. I'm thinking (hoping) Jake & co. will be able to pick apart their secondary all afternoon long.

But that's why they play the game. All the thinking and hoping, and in some unfortunate instances, trolling, are done and it's time for the doing.

BYU has no chance in this game. Playing an SEC team on the road in the humidity. Hopefully they can keep it respectful at least. If you bring Ole Miss to 5000 feet elevation in Provo I think you have a whole new ball game. BYU would win that one.

Ute fan here, good luck. I have to say after last night that BYU D is going to be good. Maybe not as good as the Utes but their O is way better.

Looks like the BYU is going to have to deal with a Rainy, soggy, downpour during the game, as the deep south is in for record amounts of rain starting tonight! This will definetly affect the game and perhaps the outcome.

Bring on the football! It is hot, humid and nasty. But by tomorrow night we will know if all the hype is legit...

    Go Cougars!!

Enjoy that giant gulp of hot air when you walk off the airplane! The same "hot air" that the cougies and their fans have spewed for months! Ole Miss will pound that ridiculous defense and Heaps will do nothing! Go Rebels!!!!!!!!

With our talent, I really think this will be the biggest blow out in Ole Miss history. Realistically, I anticipate a score of:

    BYU 93

    Ole Miss 0

Yes folks, we are that good this year.

Gotta love the Ute trolls. While many BYU fans are wishing the Utes a good season, the U trolls can't help but to predict doom and gloom for the Cougars, who are going to absolutely destroy the competition this season. Go ahead, blame it on the heat, the humidity, whatever. Remember, the Y has, and will continue to dominate the U. That is a long proven fact.

Im tired of talking about it. Lets get this on!

After watching the U sputter and stumble their way to an ugly win over a poor opponent it made me even more excited to see what these Cougars can do.

Of course John White had a good game. MSU Dline averages 6'2" 290 for crying out loud! Utes Oline are going to have a wake up call @USC.

The fall camp concerns were evident during last nights game for the Utes. Hopefully the assement of this Cougar team is accurate as well. If so, BYU should win by more than 2 tds. Great offensive, very good defense should make for a very fun Saturday afternoon.

    Go Cougs!!! Beat Ole Miss!!!

With a big experienced O Line, the heat, the humidity, and BYU'S overconfidence, I see Mississippi winning a close game. Stay Independent, your not good enough to play consistently with the big boys. Your record against the BCS Conferences in the past shows that. You are a very good Mid Major Program would be mediocre ala Northwestern in the major Conferences.

Hey GoUtesss, that was some stellar performance you guys had last night! Look out Rose Bowl, here comes Utah! Good thing you got the hardest team on your schedule out of the way. Looking at the way you guys played it'll be smooth sailing from here on out.

    Classy utesss;
Nutt will have his team up for this game no doubt about it. They play several very good teams every year and know how to prepare. I hope all the hard work and preparation pays off for BYU and they can execute their offense. I think the Defense will have an excellent game. The LB's should be the stars of this game if Old Miss runs as much as the speculators say they will.

    Sept. 2, 2011 12:46 a.m.

    Go Ole Miss!!!

Bet Ole Miss players silently think they got lucky not having to play Boise State, getting BYU instead.

I don't think they respect BYU as much due to the BCS success Boise State has had in recent years, and the fact that Boise State still has its hot QB returning this year.

Maybe that will demoralize them before the game ends when they see how good BYU really is, especially with Jake at the helm and Bronco leading the defense.

Expecting VERY good things from BYU this year.

Anticipating some Cougar magic in the deep South as our Band of Brothers muscles out an impressive victory.
