Thanks. That inherent lack of the qualifications necessary to be President is what I had picked up from him (George Walker Bush was bad enough; we don't need another one like him). Add to the fact that Perry showed his lack of patriotism by advocating for Texas to secede from the United States, and one thing becomes very clear -- he's someone that this country does NOT need.

I live in West Texas - Bush 43 country - and Perry is a 43 clone. Poor univ. student like Bush, went into the military, not much private sector experience. Didn't come from money like 43, at least.

Career pol, claims credit for Texas' robust economy when in fact higher crude/natural gas prices have driven the boom in the oilpatch, Tea Party lapdog...uh, after eight years of 43, can't the voters of our country see through these Texas politicians (except for Lloyd Bentsen)? Almost as bad as Chicago pols. And, too bad for the Mittster's run for POTUS.

Hatred for Obama is fueling the Perry campaign, and GOP supporters are setting aside good sense for another "43 Light". No wonder our nation is in trouble. I don't wish to vote for Obama again, but I don't believe Perry is the solution either...take it from this Texas transplant.
