Obama and the Democrats whine about the rich not paying their fare share of taxes. Here are some facts:
#1: The "rich" already are paying almost 80% of all taxes collected while about 50% of Americans pay no federal income taxes. Unless you are blind or think denial is a river in Eygpt, the rich are carrying the load on their backs already and taxing them 100% cannot, will not, pay for what the government spends on entitlements alone.
#2: America has the highest corportate taxes in the world, with one exeption (GE who gets tax breaks for "green energy" products and research (which it yet has produced even one). And Democrats can't figure out why American corporations can't compete in the world, unemployment keeps going up and everything is made in China!

At least some Americans are waking up judging from a recent Gallup poll which shows only 39% of Americans would vote for Obama comapared to ANY Republican candidate. For the rest of you, keep sipping your Koolaid, adjust your tinfoil hats and keep vilifying the only people who know are working to save this country!

Amid new warnings and fresh signs of strain, President Barack Obama and congressional leaders are entering a perilous debt-limit endgame. The president, declaring "enough is enough," is demanding that budget negotiators find common ground by week's end even as the Senate's top Republican gained followers for his own last-ditch scheme to avoid a government default. A report says that a growing number of Americans are worth $1 million. The bad news: last year they were worth $5 million. We're getting closer and closer to the country going into default. We could be out of money by August 2. How many people are surprised we still have enough money to make it until August 2?. The GOP now ordered Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner to take what little money we have left and buy lottery tickets. I don't think that ever works. It's so hot that even Michele Bachmann believes in global warming. I just read that George W. Bush is getting his own limited edition baseball card. You can tell it's Bush's card because eight years after you buy it, its value decreases $14 trillion.

RAISE THE DEBT Ceiling and TAXES on the rich now.

    That's my views.

It's time for the Republicans to step up and work for the good of the country (instead of doing as McConnell suggests, and not do anything that could enable an Obama re-election -- talk about working for the good of a political party instead of the good of the country!!!). President Obama has put issues on the table that are "sacred cows" for the Democrats. It's time for the Republicans to do the same, and allow for revenue increases. To get this problem solved, everyone needs to say "ouch", not just the people who can afford it the least.
