What happened to the central utah water project? We should be building resivoirs in the high country to control water flow in high water and low water times. Floods, and droughts. Everyone in Nevada and california want our water. We should try to harvest as much water as we possibly can. At least this year, we might be able to use Norm Bangeter's pumps again. We havent used them since 1983. Hope they still work!

Perhaps the editorial board should call for stricter restrictions on floodplain development and more intelligent designations of floodplains. Many of the homes and businesses being flooded this year are simply in bad locations that intelligent zoning would have prevented.
