As a Wasatch alumni (way back), it's great to see a Wasp contributing to another win. Way to go Logan!! I got to visit with him after the TCU game a year ago -- he's a great guy.

re: Shirley I agree with your comments. When Davies was "suspended" (is he really?) the cougar fans went nuts, but Rose will continue to just rotate 6 or 7 players. He said it has worked for him before so he will continue doing it! Nice way for a kid to get his school paid for isn't it?

Based on Thursday's performance, if we play with the same efficiency against Gonzaga we'll be in big trouble if they play with the same efficiency against us. We barely beat Wofford and they pounded ST Johns. Of course it only matters how both play on Saturday night. Maybe Kyle will put the lay ups in, maybe Jimmer will shoot 50% from 3s, maybe Jackson will get his confidence back. That is why they play the game. A 3 seed versus an 11 seed. WCC rivals for next year going at it Saturday in Denver. Gotta love March Madness. Morgan St over Louisville. Ouch, that has to hurt Big East pride.

The Cougars are going to need better offensive showings from Emery and Abouo if they are going to beat Gonzaga. Go COUGS!!!!!

@ Mountanman, agreed!! Wofford was a very senior-heavy team, they know how to win games, and they came in with a plan to win this one. I watched the entire game, and BYU was in control down the stretch. Period. It was indeed a quality win.

I thought this was a quality win for BYU! Wofford wasn't a push over and they played well for most of the game! They are not champions of their conference for nothing! They defended Jimmer about as good as any team we played all year. I think the turning point of the game was BYU's zone defense which caused the Terriers to miss some crucial shots later in the game. Logan's 3 balls were wonderful too as was Jimmer's drives to the hoop, as usual! Even though Kyle didn't have a great game offensively, his rebounding was awesome! Charles was great too!

Great game? Holy cow, how many layups can a guy miss? Good thing he drained a couple 3's in the 2nd half. I, for one, was not impressed by his game last night, but am glad he contributed at some point.

It was good to see Logan come in and make a huge contribution.
I would like to see his minutes increase (but not because of foul trouble).

    Great win Cougs!

The only coaching I'vs done, is in our back yard with my boys, and as the coach, I'm always right. Now, I really don't understand the theory behind having 12 players on a team and only playing 7 or 8 during the season. Last year while playing Air Force, we were up by about 20 at the half. Coach Rose, I think he is one of the best, started the same starters for the 2nd half and by the time we were up by 30, he had still played the same 7 or 8 players. Why do we give the other 4 0r 5 players scholarships, pay for their schooling and so forth and never give them much of a chance to show their metal. This year may be a great example aka Magnusson, altho he did get 10 tonight.

Great game Logan! You gotta love it when Jimmer gets all of the attention with a double team and then a split second later he's kickin' the ball out to the perimeter.

That's what makes this team a threat to every opponent. If the 3's are going in then some great things can happen!

Here come the Cougars! Good luck against Gonzaga!
