ak is the worst perimmeter defender in the league. ak's feet are stuck in quicksand. Gordon is alot quicker as a defender. Gordon moves his feet & doesn't cross his feet & tries his best to cut off players path to the basket WITHOUT reaching in or BENDING forward getting out of position. Gordon should replace ak in the starting line-up to see what the JAZZ have long term. More time for leap frog Evans too. Favors has improved alot from the start of the season with the NETS to what I see now. If Karl can mentor this young stud, Utah will be a POWER again in the WEST in 2 years with Tomic & hopefully a good F.A. next year...THE FUTURE IS BRIGHT FOR THE JAZZ ! KOC made a great move dealing immature Williams. D-Will could NOT guard to much quicker "1's" in the league & his replacement from N.J. just has to play alittle more under control.

I like that Hayword is careful with his money... buts the point of this article? I just waisted 2 minutes of my life, and another 30 seconds writing this comment.

No wonder the team is struggling, they are just plain ignorant in all aspects of their life it would seem. They are in the pasta capitol of the United States and the choose to eat at the Olive Garden? When they feel like a great hamburger do they send the rookies to McDonalds too? The Jazz, you gotta love 'em, or at least try.

Honestly, the future is very bright, no need to get too down on this team. Gotta love the talent the rookies on this team bring. Favors 16pts 8 rbs 24 minutes against the Knicks last night. Hayward and Evans got to play some minutes too. Give these youngsters time!
    Too BIG YO!
    GO JAZZ!

@ JFFR: I agree. Still fun to be a fan and anticipate the future of the team. Part of the fun though, is reading articles like this that give us glimpses into who the guys are off the court.

This is great. Instead of writing articles about the Jazz winning, we get to learn about the fabulous friendship between Hayward and Evans.

And the season has reached a new low.

Believe it or not, I'm stil having fun being a Jazz fan.

Controlling the pace is essential with NYK/PHO. If you play their game at their pace you will lose. They scored 40 in the 1st Q and 36 in the 3rd Q. Since NYK plays NO D, 109 points by the Jazz is not impressive.
