Excellent game! Both teams battled hard and neither team quit. LP has some great young talent and should be the favorites to repeat next year but Freemont will also be back in the hunt. Kudos to the Freemont players for not "talking back" to the Refs and refraining from "showboating"...reflects well on the character of the Freemont players and the coaches. All in all, great Fun to watch!

Wow! What a great game! My Fremont hats off to Lone Peak a young, talented and we'll coached team. I had a feeling it was going to come down to the wire. Emery, Shumway, and Haws are straight up gamers! The Wolves will hold there heads high and come back next year and make another run at the title with the wolf nation behind them all the way. Great year! good luck to Lone Peak you deserve all that comes your way, you are truly a great team.

The Knights were lucky today to come back. The 'stall' tactic just reaffirmed that Utah needs a shot clock, and fast! And it almost backfired on Lone Peak. I felt that Fremont needed to attack the 1-3-1 zone with a play-maker in the high post and they failed to do that. It was a fun game to watch!

WOW what a game, the X factor was definitely Talon Shumway. What is amazing is that Lone Peak is so young and with some nice talent in Buck, Squires, Tolsen (soph) Frampton (Freshman) and Peters (Freshman) still to come, its going to be interesting to see not only how Coach Quincy is going to rotate the talented roster but how long they will continue their run. Good Luck LP!!!

Great season Fremont!! You would have won the game but the guards played scared again!! Happens every time. The bigs saw the ball a lot in the 1st half and hardly at all in the second. Guard turnovers! OUCH!!

Great job LP. Tough way to win. I thought Talon Shumway was so big in the second half with rebounds and driving to the basket.

AF is going to be another good game. Of the four other ranked teams in the 5A, LP will have to beat 3 of them to win the championship tomorrow. Amazing they are this good this young.

Once again, that team defense came up big.
