RBR, this is more than simply signing up for E-Verify. Chipotle already uses it.
This was an in-depth review of existing employees. ICE needs to do that. And they do it based on reasonable suspicion that the workforce is dirty. Obviously they guessed right in MN to have hundreds rejected that could not be remedied with better documents from the employees.
You would think that Chipotle would have a good chance of getting audits from ICE in other states.
Your assessment of Obama is correct; he is only focusing on those who have committed felonies. We are back to catch-and-release for the non-violent ones.

They don't need to talk to ICE about registering their other stores, just go on the website and sign up. That's a cop out.

Obama will not deport those here illegally, they will be turned loose to find new jobs. Going after just business does not work.

A companies name that has been caught hiring illegal immigrants is protected from disclosure unless they agree to have their name released. Some do to get a reduced fine.

We need to release every business name.

I would really like to know what "hundreds" means. Chipotle only has 1,200 employees TOTAL in Minnesota.
A union says it was 700. Others say "more than 100."
Either way, that's a huge portion of your workforce.
And the nerve of the ex-employees to claim that they weren't given all their pay.
The entire situation is ridiculous. When are we going to require E-Verify?
