    OK, Clyburn plays for Boylen...

    His bad...

But, he works hard, and has a collge scholarship to play ball.

    Mad respect to the kid...

Here's to getting your degree, and becoming a productive member of society....

    You go Will.

    Good luck.

btw, Utah's assist to turnover ratio ties the Utes with Miami(OH), New Hampshire, Chicago State, Florida Gulf Coast, and Fairleigh Dickinson for 305th out of 346 NCAA teams.

Imagine what Clyburn could do if he played in a system in which he didn't have to create all of his own shots.

Clyburn's numbers are a perfect example of what's wrong with Boylen's system (if it can be called a system).

    Clyburn: 19.3 points, 1.3 assists, 2.4 turnovers

Compare that with BYU's starting guards:

    Fredette: 26.1 points, 4.4 assists, 2.9 turnovers
    Emery: 12.6 points, 2.6 assists, 0.9 turnovers

Utah is 333rd in assists per game.

    BYU is 48th.

    Utah 179 ast/256 TO = .699 ast/TO = 305th

    BYU 276 ast/198 TO = 1.39 ast/TO = 16th

    Utah plays one-on-one.

    BYU passes the ball.

Utah is 8-10; tied for last in the MWC.

    BYU is 17-1; ranked #9, 1/2 game behind 19-0 SDSU, ranked #6.

    Rose knows how to coach.

    Boylen doesn't.

What an inspiring article... hard work, opportunity and the possibility of achieving a dream. We all have dreams and goals in life-- it is encouraging to see them fulfilled. Besides, the U can really use the help! Looking to hear a lot more about Mr. Clyburn.

This quote says it all..... "he thought coach Boylen could help him improve"

Here is the biggest problem with Boylen, he does not show player improvement under his so-called coaching. Look at Washburn and Foster. They are not an ounce better than they were a year ago. Tillie and Drca the year before were another set of good examples of players not improving. When is the press conferences to get rid of Boylen, I'm ready!

Luckily Clyburn is so talented he will be fine waiting another three months until the current coaching staff is run out of town and real coaches are hired. Will is awesome, go utes!
