    Elsewhere some have questioned if the killing in Tucson or a similar one had had a Republican victim if the "right" would accept that the killing was not fueled by leftist rhetoric.

    The problem with this question is that the one public figure killed in the Tucson massacre was a conservative Republican federal judge.

    The main victim was a republican and I have seen 0, and I say 0, serious suggestions that any recent rhetoric of liberals or Democrats fueled the killing. I have seen a few incidents of people saying this to mock the absurdity of the accusations against some people on the right, but I have not seen it carried on in a serious manner. I have definantly not seen it be the main focus of a report in a regularly published media forum, as have been attacks on Mrs. Palin in places like the New York Times.

    This man truly knew how to untite people. Something that infuriated the government to no end.
