"re:loveld" Clearly since Hurricane has been around since 1949 as an 11 man team they should have more than, umm "0" championships. My response was to the disrespect of the hurricane tigers who have "yawned" talked recruiting, and the most disrespectful display, the you tube video that was made by a hurricane tiger that was racist and religiously defaming, as I have ever seen. Since that is representative of Tiger Nation because of who made it, I would prefer to have a choice in education. Tell all of us what the uneven playing field is? Please be more informed when it comes to comments about recruiting from the salt lake valley, that "joke" is old and not even funny. Look at PC, hurricane, Delta, Judge, Wasatch, Morgan, and even Logan when they were at 3-A; they have dominated in one form or another.

Nobody is worried down here, let it play out on the field. Nobody cares about the past, lets just hope for a good clean, good sportsmanship game.

Looks to me like there are alot of nervous hurricane fans out there that feel the need to make alot of noise in the comment section of an article about JD winning. Don't think I see alot of JD fans "mouthing off" in the comments section of the hurricane article...ha ha. You better hope you hurricane fans are not planting seeds of doubt in your players minds...you all sound like you are all trying to convince yourselves that it will all be ok! ha ha....Doubt is a funny thing, it grows fast,so keep fertilizing it with your nervous comments you hurricane fans! GO EAGLE!!

Pistol Peter: Wow, you make this too easy. Hearing you say I know nothing about football just proves my point. Thanks
As for all the other comments about level playing fields seems like you are already making excuses for when you lose? Yeah, our RT lives down the street from the school and weighs in at 170 lbs. Thats a good recruit?! All our players are undersized, even for 3A and we recruit. This silly argument comes up every year about this time of year. Give it a rest and know that we are 3A because UHSAA, and if JD recruited they would be even better. JD plays with the small players they have who's parents want them to have a good education and life outside of football, getting them prepared for college and higher education. I'm looking forward to the game, and as far as luck having nothing to do with? All Hurricane has said for 2 years is how "lucky" JD was for 2 years?!
I hope your team is better prepared than these comments?
How long has the drive back to Hurricane been the last two years?

just one more food for thought for JD fan if you're going to use the Cedar Game as a comparison. If you remember, Hurricane beat Skyline 17-14 who beat West 28-20 and of course West beat Juan Diego in OT 34-28.

To THE OFFICIAL:-----What a JOKESTER you are. Clearly if Hurricane could recruit all over the Salt Lake Valley then they would have many more championships then Juan Diego. To even compare the two teams # of State Titles is a complete JOKE. Seriously? We're talking about small town Southern Utah vs. the Salt Lake Valley? And you have the nerve to compare championships? That's the problem when there is an uneven playing field. Private Schools ruin the level playing field and then we get Jokesters like you comparing # of championships? PLEASE Clue in!

JD fan - first off you know NOTHING about football. So don't pipe in and start something you know you can't finish. Hurricane is going to put it to JD and the running back that only had one carry last week. JD is a good 3A football team - but Hurricane is better and luck won't have anything to do with this game. The JV quarterback that can't see over his lineman won't get it done on Friday. See you at the U.

JD has good defensive stats because they haven't played anyone with a high powered offense. Hurricane led 3A in defense prior to the Cedar game, and a lot of points have been scored against Hurricane at the end of games when JV and sometimes Freshman are playing.

Ps who has the number one offense in 3a ps delta also beat manti by more points then jd. Hurricane beats delta. Um just food for thought

Re jd fan. Food for thought. Cedar gets lucky against pine view wins by one point on a trick play. Pine view loses to hurricane by twenty points with out key starters being in. Again cedar scrapes by against d hills on A safety. Hurricane dominates d hills. Hurricane loses to cedar plays,Morgan who BTW beat judge. D hills plays bear river who also BTW beat judge. Cedar loses to judge a four seat. Stats don't matter. game time matters which is what hurricane learned when they played cedar. U don't have a valid point

Please help me understand this? Didn't Judge beat Cedar? Didn't Cedar put up 44 pts on Hurricane? Didn't JD just beat Judge? Didn't JD beat Judge 2x this year? Is it just me or when you play the same team 2x in a season the 2nd game is a little better? Judge was well prepared and played a good game and these 2 teams know each other well, hence the rivalry. Judge's D held Cedar to 21 pts yet Cedar threw down 44 on Hurricane's D? Just food for thought! JD has the best D in the State for 3A, period! Hurricane will be in for a rough night. Remember Defense wins Championships and that is what we are all playing for! No one has put up 44 on JD!
I am looking forward to great game. I will say I was disappointed in the way JD's O played on Friday, but give credit to a prepared Judge team and glad JD got that one out of the way.
JD will be ready to win. Look out this week Hurricane. We will be ready to play!
    PS Have a nice drive.

I hope and pray next week will be a game. Cuz I'm paying eight dollars for this. Lets hope its not another Delta game look-alike. 2010 SC.

It was just a little boring after the MC and bountiful game that's all. Yes they match up good or it would of been a blow out like the other 3A game. It will be a good game next week, I don't predict scores. I would rather hope for no injuries and bad sportsmanship. Judge had a great DEF IMO.

You should be looking for nothing short of a win, doesn't all teams? Neither team does not think for a minute they cannot compete and win this game. So watch out for what? A good game? Duh!!! Oh by the way, let me remind you of the last 2 years. Oh! Just a thought, It does not matter how the game was won...fact is, it was won. Do you remember? I know this is going to be a hard effort on both teams.

justathought, don't be to sure of yourselves up there. Remember the first game of the season when we handled Skyline quite nicely? We've got the best team we've ever had in my opinion and have a lot of momentum and support. Yes, the crowd makes quite a difference surprisingly. We're coming in looking for nothing short of a win, so watch out, Juan Diego. We beat you once, we know we can do it again.

A few people don't represent all of hurricane (and I don't either). I will say that all I've spoken to are very excited to meet JD again. I respect JD's program and think we will need to be on top of our game next Friday.
BTW, my experience with the fans at JD (excluding a fan or two on this forum over the years) as well as my nephews treatment by JD's players and coaches leave me with nothing but positive things to say about them.

    GO TIGERS!!!!

Yaaaaaawwwwnnnnn! You played Delta remember? That game was surely a Yaaaaawwwwwwnnnnn!!! Juan Diego or Judge would and will give Hurricane a different game. JD & Judge are very compatible however I thought Judge had the edge as far as talent in general. This game was a game and fun to watch. Don't be so sure of yourselves down there. This is playoff football. No matter what happen during the season, it is a different game that eve. Humble yourself or you might be humbled by JD.

I'm a little surprised that Judge didn't learn from Wasatch's mistake a week earlier and go for two at the end. You haven't had any luck scoring on them all game and suddenly you feel that overtime would be the best? Wasatch would have easily scored the two pt. the defenders were deflated and looked like they were going to concede the PAT. Look at it like this, it was a miracle to score, why tie and hope for another miracle in OT. Bad coaching!
