Just got back from the beach. Funny thing about waves. Every one that comes in, goes back out.

Now the Republicans are on the hook to kick start the economy, create jobs, and cut spending. Oh, and they have to run for election in 2012. Which of those 4 things will get their focus?

Repeal of this fiasco of a health care bill is paramount to national recovery. If these advocates for the plan are so fearful of insurance company policy they can legislate that separate from this health care plan. Crying wolf has been disastrous and negative to the economy.

Resolving and controlling health care costs starts at the source, the medial industry, not insurance and patient bankruptcies. In fact if there was real concern about health care cost, abolish all health care insurance as fraudulent and criminal scams, watch it plummet health care cost to affordable.

GOP asserts new strength and, in doing so, shows that it doesn't care about the people of the United States. It just cares about making political points for future elections. They won't work with anyone for the good of the people of the United States. They just want to impose their radical agenda on the people whether or not we want it. No thanks. We deserve better.

The next two years will make them have to take responsibility for their authoritarianism. Hopefully the people will see them for what they are, and vote them out.

Aside from being the host of the UN headquarters, the US actually OWES money to the UN now. And that debt is a treaty obligation, as binding as the Constitution. Maybe we can call on Ted Turner to bail us out again, but it has to be paid.

How about if the budget cutting starts with the U.S. contribution to the U.N.?

They've just now begun their annual tirade about what an evil country the U.S. is and how mean we are to everybody.
Lets not give money to people who call us names! Maybe the U.N. would be happier without us AND OUR MONEY!
