@ VegasUte. So it's ok for you to say about Alex Smith. "He still
has a career and is still developing." But yet, you and the rest of the Utes
blow up Jake Heaps when people try to say the same thing? I don't think Jake
Heaps is even close to as good as the HYPE has been on him at all. In fact I
think he is a bust to. But my point was to "Utefan" was that he needs to take a
look at all the Utah QB's and not cast the first stone. I'm not a big fan of Max
Hall either, but it's a great story that he made the team and has been getting a
chance to play/start.
I love how the U has become sort of a def. back factory the last several years
for the NFL. Most doing pretty well.
Both of you are off base on this one! At least Hall got to start, which can't be
said about thousands of QBs coming out of college. I can't stand the guy as a
person, he is a classless buffoon, but you have to give him some credit for his
achievements. No one thought he would even make the team, let alone start. On the same hand, Smith is FAR from the biggest bust #1 draft pick. To
say that is to show your ignorance about the game of football and the people who
have played in the NFL and been drafted #1. He still has a career and is still
developing. Is he a success so far? No. But he has had a far more productive
career than any BYU QB since Young. Just remember, Young was HORRIBLE for all
his time at TB and was a bench player for years at SF before he did anything.
Luckily, when he did start, he was coached by a UTE! Then he became great. After
him, no BYU QB has done anything of note.Go Utes! Squash the toads!
Biggest game of the year!See you at GameDay!!
Wow, Utefan, you and your Utes have a lot of room to talk about NFL QB's. How is
Alex Smith doing? He is the biggest BUST #1 draft pick. Let me guess, you
probably think Jordan Wynn is a future All Pro QB to?
Will Max start again for the Cardinals and get them another loss in his brief
and getting briefer NFL career? He is by his own admission "getting better" on
his reads and is "going to keep grinding."Will the Cardinals make
the same stupid decision and continue to allow Max to believe that he really is
an NFL quarterback by playing him, or will his bubble burst as they reinstate D.
Anderson. Anderson is, at least, a former All Pro...Hall never will be anything
but a post script.
