Congratulations to the entire SUU community on this tremendous accomplishment. When Dr. Benson became President of SUU, he vowed to elevate the profile of the institution and the invitation to join the Big Sky is certainly a manifestation of that pledge. Way to go T-Birds!

The WAC invited UTSA and Texas State for all sports and Denver and Seattle for basketball. Montana was invited, but, at the moment, has declined to accept the invitation. Montana State and Portland State aren't even being conisered by the WAC and there are no plans at either school to make a move to the WAC.

Is the Big Sky expanding in anticipation of the WAC inviting some of the present Big Sky teams to join the WAC? I think so. Possibly Montana and Montana State. Some rumors have Portland State interested.

When you have a great president, wonderful coaches, and a hard working student body other people take notice. Way to go everyone that has made SUU in to the great school that it is.

Welcome aboard! Good to finally see SUU get in. This should make the Weber State/SUU rivalry stonger. It's been a long time coming, congratulations.
