Man, if both teams win this weekend (which they should) next week will be the
biggest game in mountain west history...possibly one of the biggest games in
mid-major history for the regular season excluding bowl games.
Tew out is huge! He is a big part of what they do.As along as the D
holds true and we get a decent production from the offense, should be a "W".Will be a fun one though.Go Utes, one game at a time!
NC Utes: I doubt it will get that high, not because we couldn't, but because it
makes more sense strategically to run the ball a lot given that's where AFA is
weak. I'd say a TCU-esque score such as 35-7 is probably more like it.
Calhoun should be impressed!!With Tew out, it kind of evens the
score from last year. We had Asiata out and then Wide got injured, yet we still
won the game. This year we are better, deeper, more experienced and
HEALTHY! My prediction Utah wins 41-17. Sorry NC, not going to be that big a
blow out.Go Utes! On to victory at AF, a climb in the polls, and
more national respect.
What I like about this Utah team is their all around speed. Air Force relies on
speed and deception to get their offense going. Any slip up in a defense, and
you're looking at a big play. However, this defense has the speed, toughness,
and discipline to play against this type of offense. I'm looking forward to
seeing what both teams bring to the table but don't doubt that Utah will win by
two touchdowns at least. GO UTES!!
I respect the heck out of Air Force for what they do, but this game will be a
laugher like the rest of them by the 3rd quarter. With Tew out with
a broken leg, a major part of their offense is gone.Utah 52Air
The AF game is going to be a great game. Utahs defense can hang with anyone and
they are great at shutting down the run which AF is known for. This game is
going to be exciting! The TCU game will be a thriller also! Cant wait to see
some good team face off against the Utes.
Should be a good game against AFA.What a game that will be against
TCU.Rose Bowl.Sugar Bowl.Las Vegas Bowl rep should just go to
Provo and watch BYU. They should keep inviting BYU like the last few years.Go Utes!
I would hope ESPN makes the trip to SLC, but they need to overcome their
self-interest in the BCS first. As a network, they have been able to do a pretty
good job of it, but many commentators and people behind the scenes are still
snobs and would prefer that the Utah and TCU game get only the minimum amount of
