I have been a BYU fan for 65 years. I know they can go independant and be on top of the football world. I could see they developing a broadcast system thru KSL and beaming it all around the world. BYU has the system already in place, they just need to get a network deal with ABC. ESPN will pay BYU big dollars to carry their games, just as ND. ND plays alot of po-dunk schools, and still get rated even if they are the worst team for that year. It is because of the large Catholic pop. in the US, with BYU growing and the church growing, they can have their own TV deal. I would pay $100 month to have all of BYU sports in my home. Their of thousands of Idaho fans who feel the same way. So go for it Cougs. I think people like Wee-Willy and the bad name he has give Utah sports-would have to eat crow................

I've long felt that BYU should maneuver to establish a CAC (Christian Athletic Conference), and the WCC comes closest to a move in that direction. There are plenty of Christian universities coast to coast, to have both a Div I & II, with an East and West league. Then these could challenge the BCS to a true NCAA national championship. Every team in the CAC would have an open game or two every season to explore competition.

bbb blue - I watched them through the Crowton years. I am not worried - BYU will be fine regardless of what happens. Go cougs.

I hope they play Heaps with Nelson coming in 10 plays a game.

I know there are too many opinions on this going around and around, but it really seems to me, by reading these articles on the camp report, that Riley appears to be pulling away a little bit. Much higher completion percentage and more yards plus he's doing well running with the ball, the past few days he's looking pretty good. But of course I'm not there at the practice watching.
