I can't believe that we have people on this thread spewing anti corporate sentiment. What happened is a tragedy and the company will never work again. But Private companies are the backbone of our society and provide all that you use in your home. They have to provide products consumers want and are safe. They have to actually balance there finances something the government has never learned. If you have a private company and a government run company both doing the exact same thing the private company would not only do better in the area of safety but every other area than a government run anything.

It is really surprising that the management of the pest control company allowed the fumitoxin pellets to be used so indiscriminately. I would think that there would be a safey/security protocol in place to oversee the use of the more dangerous pesticides.

A key lesson for families is to be very aware and cautious of any toxic chemicals that come into your home or yard. People don't realize that everything from cleaning agents to carpeting to paints to fertilizers, etc., put your family in danger. Even small amounts of toxic chemicals that can accumulate into the body over time can adversely affect your health.

And private corporations are NOT looking out for your health and safety. And government can't monitor these private corporations.

The lesson is that parents must think twice about putting toxic chemicals into and around the home. Even cleaning agents on carpets where little babies crawl to breath it all in put our beloved ones at significant risk!
