What you don't know "Little Freshmen"...is that PG has to play Bingham first round of the playoffs. So good luck with that cause your going to get beat AGAIN in the first round of the tournament. The knights struggled quite a bit agianst PG this week but I wouldnt count them out to destroy the Cavemen tuesday. They need, and will be a team if they want to have a chance at a championship run. Itll be interesting to see how it pans out.

    OCHO out!!!

There needs to be a more mature level between the guards in the lineup its making the team fail under pressure,The Vikings on the other hand are looking very dominant and hard to stop! You cant just focus on 1 player, they can go 7 or 8 players and play well. I cant wait to see the bingham PG stat championship! Go Miners!!

I have to say that game was intense from the begining, let's not forget the Knights came back from being down 14 to cutting to 7! I think both teams played very well, at the end the Vikings just wanted it a little more. I love that we beat Lone Peak twice this season, but I do not take for granite that fact that the Knights have a great coaching staff and GREAT players. Well, done Vikings let's get out and beat A.F. and Hillcrest and move onto State!!!

How can forcing shots and shot selection be a coaching issue? The coach is on the bench. Its 15, 16 and 17 yr old kids making those choices on the court.

Well said LP fan. You do have a good team. They are young but from what I understand they do have quite a bit of experience... AAU, etc. You know, the shot selection and forcing shots can somewhat be attributed to youth but that primarily IS a coaching issue. :)

Congrats to PG, they deserved the win. I was disappointed in the way our team played as a "team." At times it felt like watching a church basketball game. It was not the way LP plays basketball. Strange shot selection, forced play, uncharacteristic defense, you could tell we were not in it together.

I know we are young, but I do believe that we are very well coached and talented enough. We need to get back to basics. Region 4 is a beast this year- however, there are no excuses. It been fun to see such competitive teams. Alta, Jordan, Brighton, PG, and AF (LP) are all very close. Hopefully we do well in state.

Man, you couldn't read a boys high school basketball article earlier in the season without hearing the bragging and arrogance of the Lone Peak fans. Now we haven't heard from them in a few weeks! Why is that? What happened?
