Since his mission, he spent just a year not working for church
Pres.Hickley was the best president that ran the church for so many years. And
was good at.All the best to Pres.Monson
President Hinckley is truly a Prophet of the Lord. Surely we will missed him
and I pray for his family. I loved all his teachings and the sense of humor he
shared to us. The love and humbleness he show for all the youth and children
around the world will be forever in our heart; his an optimist person that never
complain of his works with anyone.Watching the funeral service lived
yesterday tears just flow into my eyes, I just can't stop crying.

You were and are a true prophet of God ,as called by the Lord in these latter
days with the keys of the kingdom passed down through Joseph Smith Jr. and his
successors through Peter, James and John and John the Baptist. With
your publicity skills honed by many years of service at the highest levels, you
took the original Church of Jesus Christ restored in these latter days of the
world public in an unprecedented way.We laughed with you as you got,
I swear, ever funnier, through the years. But what are we to do about aging
without a sense of humor? You were finely honed as both a servant of the Lord
while bringing your spirit and wit with equal ease inside and outside the
Church. You have been a great boon to the missionaries because of
this. You were an every man for everybody. You went from freckle haired and
bashful boy to a hilarious and spiritual, hard working, down-to-earth dynamo who
left us in the dust while temples dotted the earth. How did you ever
carry the load for so long? You were asked to carry a cane, and you,
well, carried it 'till 97!
You were born to be a prophet for this time. Everything in your life pointed to
it. I will miss your warmth, humor, and optimism. God's blessings to you and
your family. Thank you for your testimony that will continue to survive because
of the technology that you so wonderfully used to the advantage of the church.
I feel blessed to have been in the same room with you this past summer and that
my children also got to see a prophet of God.
We still loving you President Gordon. You still inspiring our family. You were
great, you still being great, you wiil be great before our heavenly Father. Our
Lord Jesus-Christ will be happy to rieceve you.Joseph Smith will be happy to see
you.All prothets will be happy to have you as a prothet for this last time. You

Our beloved Prophet & President is no longer physically with us here on earth,
but he still is with us spiritually. And all we have to do when weneed his
guidance and spirit is read the many articles in past Ensigns & other church
perodicals, watch video's & dvd's from past General Conferences. He was and still is a very special man.He has finished his work here on
earth, Heavenly Father, and his dear wife , Marjorie, needed him there.
I also will miss seeing & listening to him in General
Conference & and other church broadcasts. My prayers are with his
family here on earth , both his immediate family and his broad church family.
Thank you Pres Hinkley, Drew
Tears of joy for him and sadness for us fell as we learned of our beloved
Prophet's passing. We are so grateful to have known him loved him. May his
family be blessed. We are so gratfeul to know, with no reservations that,
families can be forever.
What a blessed day it is in the Heaven's as "Thy good and faithful servant" has
returned home to his maker. Oh how I will miss his profounding inspirational
words of wisdom. President Hinckley one who will never be forgotten, for He made
a difference in the lives of all he came in contact with. One always knew He was
in the service of fellow beings and most graciously His Lord. How blessed we
were to have met and known such a Valiant servant of our Heavenly Father. May
the Lord bless the family of President Hinckley until that blessed day when we
all meet again at the Savior's feet.
President Hinckley is a perfect example to faith and charity and principally a
great effect in my life. Part of my new life in the church is for the testimony
of president Hinckley, now I'm sad, but happy at the same time because I know he
is with my Heavenly Father waiting for all the members to perseverate to be
together in the first resurrection, this is my testimony. Thanks
I will miss Pres Hinckley very much, but I know he is where he is suppose to be.
I loved him very much and will always remember the "B's" he developed. My
prayers are with his family at this time. What a valiant prophet and servant to
Heavenly Father as with everyone. He served only to bring glory to the Savior
and to God. He is with his beloved wife, Marjorie and the rest of his family as
well with past Prophets.
Word cannot describe how sad I feel that I will no longer be able to hear his
counsel in the next General Conference this year. however, I will always be
grateful to have had such a wonderful living Prophet in our time, may God bless
him and keep him, may God bless his family.....God be with you till we meet
again.Thankyou for the wonderful memories you have left us,and what an
example you have been to all young and old.
I have been blessed to have met Pres. Hinckley and even exchanged humor with him
(he easily bested me).Having been close to interfaith relations
years ago, Pres. Hinckley did MUCH to bring the church and its members out of
obscurity, and also challenged its members to do good continually in service to
our fellow man. His efforts will continue to be a springboard for us as an
example of Christ-like service, looking for the positive in all around us, and
making the world a better place.I will miss you, dear prophet -For your candor and wit in your message of the potential within each of us to
excel in all that we do, and to never dwell on discouragement, but to look
upwards and onwards.-For your humility and grace in serving
tirelessly and without complaint, even when the weight of the presidency rested
upon you during previous leaders' infirmities. -For bringing temples
and the related blessings so much closer to the saints.-For bringing
the blessings of the gospel to greater light in the world. You leave
behind a legacy of hope and love... for us to carry on. Thank you... for so
President Hinckley is a man who Loves Heavenly Father and his son Jesus Christ
more than anything else. You felt that love and devotion whenever he spoke.
You were lifted by his faith, humor, and eternal optimism. I llok forward to
the day when we will all meet again in that great heavenly home. I testify to
the world that Gordon B. Hinckley is a beloved prophet of God and will be loved
forever by the people whose lives he touched. May we each be blessed to carry
on with this great work and faithfully serve as we have seen our beloved prophet
serve. As I have loved you love one another. Remember everyone can make a

I am sadend by the death of President Gordon Hinckley.Like all Saints around the
World,he will be missed. We all will be sadent for a time, but the next President
will come along and we as good Saints will follow him to no end.Gordon Hinckley
will not be forgotten but will be in our minds for the rest of our lives. He
will be know for his Temple Work and the new Family History program. A man of
God. A great Man and Saint. A man of God.Great speaker, leader.A Humanitalian
but most of all, A Prophet of God.
I just want to pay my respect to President Hinckley he was a chosen spirit and
one who served with all his love with everyone. We will all miss him dearly.
We shall mourn and comfort those who mourn, but rejoice in the knowledge that he
Lives. As with Profits of old, he has served the Lord well.Enos 1:
26 26 And I saw that I must soon go down to my grave, having been wrought
upon by the power of God that I must preach and prophesy unto this people, and
declare the word according to the truth which is in Christ. And I have declared
it in all my days, and have rejoiced in it above that of the world.
What a great man! I am deeply touched by his life of service. I hope his life
can be an inspiration to others to dedicate their lives in the service of God.
I mourn his death, and my thoughts are towards his family that they may find
comfort. I know that he was God's prophet on the earth and that he had personal
communications with our Lord, Jesus Christ....now he is back home in the
presence of his dear wife and friends that passed on before him. He is in the
presence of his friend and master, Jesus Christ. I am sure that Jesus will say
to him: "Well done, thou good and faithful servant." There is no doubt in my
mind, and I am sure that the world could agree with me that Jesus will say it to
this great man: "Well done, my servant, Gordon!" I love President Hinckley. He
will be greatly missed and I hope to meet him someday after I die. May we all
think on his example and hope to be with him in the realms above. Make the
choice today to repent and serve God with all your whole soul!
I am most grateful the Lord allowed him to be with us so long. I have learned so
much about the Kingdom Of God from him. He will be joyously received on the
other side by his lovely wife and all the great ones of the Kingdom. He is truly
one of the greatest prophets that ever lived.
No one can augue that this man did not live a life of service. He loved
everyone and that love reflected in everything he did. I am sad for his family
but happy for his sweet wife. My belief is that they are together today - what
I will miss President Hinkley for all that he has done in spreading the Gospel
thru out the world. With helping to buildlng the temples as they are spotted
thruout the world. I am gratful for all that he has done for the Church Of
Latter Day Saints.
That which best defines President Hinckley can be shown during the time, due to
the illness of the rest of the First Presidency, he literally had to take
command of the Church. Not once did he ascribe that honor to himself although he
had to assume the responsibility. During that period his attitude reminded me of
the attitude of John the Baptists when the Savior began his ministry.
"We Thank Thee Of God For a Prophet, to guide us in these latter-days."
President Hinckley lived the pure love of Christ. What a valiant prophet to
serve so diligently! He served only to bring glory to the Savior and to God,
never to himself, exemplifying love for everyone. What joy, the knowledge of
the plan of salvation, and that he resides in Heaven, with his beloved wife,
Marjorie, probably still working on the behalf of others. What a triumphant
overcoming of the world! God bless his family as they will miss him more than
the rest. Bright hope he gave, much loved he shared.
While his death was inevitable, I will greatly miss his wit and candor, his
unsurpassed speaking ability and his tremendous leadership and vision.I had the opportunity to meet him when he dedicated our Columbia River Temple
in 2001 - it was like looking into eternity to shake his hand and look him in
the eyes. What a great reunion he is now having with his
beloved wife and others.
Thank you President Hinkley for you love and faithfulness and the Christlike
example you have always been, God be with you until we meet again.
Just think he's up there shaking hands and giving hugs to Joseph Smith and all
the rest that were before him with his beloved wife Marjorie. Heaven SHINES
I am so sad to think that we will never see President Hinkley at General
Conference again. I always looked forward to seeing him and the warm feeling I
always had seeing him and hearing him speak. He was a great man who was greatly
loved by members of the Church. I am so happy for him that he is now reunited
with Sister Hinkley, his parents and friends like President Faust. My heart goes
out to his family and know that they will miss him. God bless them. We love you
My heart has been heavy since I heard the news last night. Although it was not
unexpected, it still makes me very sad to think he is actually gone. I will miss
his leadership and example greatly. Every time I am tempted to dwell on my own
selfish pursuits I will think of him and how he dedicated his ENTIRE life to the
service of God and others.Farewell President Hinckley. Enjoy your
eternal reward now with your beloved wife.
I have no memory of General conference without President Hinckley conducting,
and I was born in 1976. I loved the man, and was honored to meet him in person
(He was very normal, albeit shorter than I expected)He will never be
forgotten, of that I am sure. We now enter a new era in the church, and I
support President Monson, but my heart aches for I miss President Hinckley

were close to him. He is a great man, and I wish everyone could have known him.
Surely the world is a better place because of his diligent work, his love for
all people, his wit and humor, his example, and his faithfulness in leading the
Church. God bless him and his family.
President Hinckley was and always will be a prophet of God. Though I have a
chance to meet him face to face ,I truely know the work he does is God's work on
earth. My family are so grateful for all he has done, and now he sits at the
right hand side of God.I pray that God will bless the new president

assignment and to be with his dear wife. I love them both. I am humbled by his
greatness and godliness. I will miss him very very much. He has inspired me to

wisdom and understanding.May the Lord bless the new president and

I feel calm at the moment, like the spirit is calming me. I am sad that we could
not have him longer, but I am happy that he is now with Heavenly Father and
Jesus Christ. I am thankful for all of his works and services. I'll pray for
peace for his family and guidance for the leaders of our church. I know that the
Lord would not have had it any other way. This is his plan and I shall accept it
and follow it faithfully. I know that the Lord has blessed him and his family.
Us members in Florida are deeply saddened at President Hinkley's passing. His
optimistic and humorous interviews made living as a mormon a lighter burden in
the missionfield as people started feeling more kindly toward the church because
of him. We felt his love clear across the United States and will miss him
dearly. We pray for his family.
I am sad at His passing but know that He will be together with His Dear
Marjorie. He is a great Man and I am grateful for what He has done for me and my
family and for the people of the world.God bless Him
God bless Gordon B. Hinckley.
President Hinckley is a wonderful example of faithful optimism. I mourn his
death. He brought me closer to God and to his Son Jesus Christ. I am forever
thankful for his service and love.
Pres. Hinckley was a great example of service; a dedicated servant of God.
What an amazing man. To dedicate your life to the service of others is by far
the biggest legacy you can leave behind. Our world will forever be blessed for
the loving service President Hinckley has given us.
