There shouldn't be any griping between MWC or WAC because neither gets respect. I root for Boise St. whenever they play a peronial power. They have my respect with what they have done the last few years. However you don't need any respect from anyone except those that control the system.

I have always thought if you could develop a conference between the best schools in each of these two conferences then that would be enough to get an automatic in the BCS or playoff system.

What does any one else think about this? Or would it not matter and one wouldn't be given anyway???

I agree with a playoff system. But the powers that be will find a way to not include winners in each division IA conference. If they are all in the same division then each should have an equal shot. If not, then split up division IA or whatever the new title is these days.

Go back to the MWC, that bastion of top quality football, recognized nationally as one of the top conferneces in the country. Opps, my bad, this what the Mountian Worst Conference says about itself. No one else, seems to be buying it.

Battle of the Worst obviously didn't see last year's Fiesta Bowl when Boise dominated Oklahoma for the most of the game and then come back in dramatic fashion after letting the Sooners back in it.

By the way, Hawaii will destroy Boise State today.

    To: battle of the worst,

Do you mean racked like how Boise racked Oklahoma last year? Or like how Boise racked Utah last year?? Do you know the meaning of racked??

The two winningest programs from the most pathetic conference play in a showdown of the two weakest schedules on the planet. Winner has a chance to get racked in a BCS bowl. Isn't there something better on TV tonight, like CNN.

This game starts at 7 p.m. (MST) today and it's being televised on ESPN2. Hawaii was the preseason favorite to win the WAC, but the title runs through Boise. A lot of people, mostly outside of Boise, have not yet learned that you don't bet against BSU. Every time they've played a MWC school, they've taught that lesson and - still - people don't respect them. This is Boise's game to win. Regardless of the outcome, it should be fun to watch.

Boise Rolls over Hawaii for the W. Neither team, though they are deserving, goes to a BCS bowl this year. Why are they not in the National title talk. Hawaii has less losses than the title front runner, and Boise State has the same amount of losses. If LSU can be forgiven for a loss why can't BSU? The system is not fair and should be changed so that every good team has a shot at no. 1.

    So when is this game??

Hawaii will win this game but will probably only end up as #13 in the BCS poll and therefore not be invited to play in a BCS bowl game. The BCS needs to go away and a college football playoff installed and a true champion be identified each year.
