Powerhouse? LOL! Skyline is a well coached team, but is far from the "powerhouse" they once were. If Layton is well-prepared, unlike Jordan, they shouldn't have a big problem with them. Even with Kenny Schmidt lighting people up every week.

I guess it is a good thing for Layton that the game on Friday isn't on Skyline's home field then....that perfect home playoff record will not have to be tarnished. I think it is funny that you brag about Skyline's homefield record when they have to play on the road.

Who said that Layton is looking ahead to American Fork? I know for a fact that they take one game at a time, all the time. They will be ready for Skyline.

    Go Lancers!

no one else can boast 35-0 on their homefield in the playoffs. no one else can say that have one 14 state championships. layton is just another upset in a sea of upsets that skyline highschool has won. so go ahead and look ahead to american fork, never to early to prepare for next year

Congradulations coach Fitu Toomalatai I remember when you coached at Carson High in California. It's good to see that you have continued your success at Layton high, you have produced another great offensive line under your belt. Good luck to you and the rest of the Layton staff against Skyline. Where routing for you guys down south and hopefully we can get more polynesian kids your way up north. You represent our people well. Talofa!!

Wow! Skyline has an amazing track record. I think it will take a while before anyone should compare any team to Skyline. Yes, it looks like the dominance is slowing down, but until they lose a home playoff game (35-0) or have a losing season (its been 19 years), they are always the best team in my book.
