    I have to agree.

I'll take an embarrassing 42-7 win anyday of the week.

I've read most the articles and you would think BYU tripped every other step. With a 42-7 romp, the offensive line got criticized, the passing game a thumbs down, the defense was "OK"(three interceptions, one returned for a touchdown and they get an OK). No mention of how many second and thirds were in the game, no mention Gaskins played the entire 4th quarter, slight mention of Bryce M and his serious yardage on returns. And maybe, just maybe, the weather might have been a factor too. Geez, sorry cougs players, no fans in the media. Dont read the papers just look at 64,000 + hanging out in the stands on a bad day!

How did Mahuika have 3 kickoff returns?
EWU kicked off to start the 2nd half and scored only once. What was the 3rd kickoff!?

Darwin....you said it well! My only beef is scheduling an EW Eagle teams in the first place. Give the $323,000 to Utah State, and put them on the schedule if nothing else. BYU is still going to have adventures on the road. Look at the California Bears vs UCLA result. UCLA undefeated in their conference? That says it all, as they were thumped by Utah on the road. I still can't believe the Tulsa track meet with the "Y"....but again, that was a road game. Look out at Laramie. Go Utes and Cougars. The Cougars will need their "A" game to finish on top.

Every writer from Dnews makes a comment about the fans streaming for the exits when the snow came. I was there and yes about 2/3 of the crowd left. But what all you negative journalists never report is whats left in the cup of water. The 1/3 of the fans that stayed in the snow until the last snap were chanting and cheering and singing songs and having a glorious time in the snow. Some of us in Utah don't call snow "bad weather". I'll take snow over rain any day of the week! Some of the players seemed to thrive on it too. Writers are always looking for the bad side. Like BYU offense struggled. Yeah? NO FIELD GOALS! Capitalized on turnovers and good field position! Took the opponent completely out of the game, yes the offense was not exactly sharp, but it's not like the BYU laid an egg! Come on, it was 42-7! And the touchdown they got was because Keil uncharacteristically bought a pump fake, otherwise their QB would have been eating mud. Chill merchants of Negativity! Turnovers 3-1 and 7 points! Thats all you talked about last week! Nothing today?
