There are many great athletes at BYU and not all of them play football or men's basketball. Here are 10 Cougars that too many BYU fans don't know about, but should.

Kristen Riley, basketball, senior
Jeffrey D. Allred, Deseret News

Riley was named as an honorable mention All-American this past season, leading BYU to its first NCAA tournament bid since 2007. She averaged 11.4 points and eight rebounds per game this past season.

Lexi Eaton, basketball and track, freshman
Jonathan Hardy

Eaton averaged 10.5 points per game this past season and is now competing on the track team. She recently recorded a personal best in the high jump, clearing 1.80 meters, which is a top-15 mark nationally this year.

Brandon Watson, diving, senior

Watson won the senior men's 1-meter titles at the USA Diving Winter National Championships. He also won the 2010-2011 MWC diver of the year award.

Nachelle Mackie, women's track, junior
Jaren Wilkey, BYU

Mackie is the 2012 NCAA indoor champion in the 800 meters and earned All-American honors in both the 800 meters and for her performance on the distance medley relay team. She recently set the BYU record for the 800 meters at 2:03.30 and is the MPSF champion in the event.

Lacy Cramer Bleazard, women's track, senior

Bleazard competes in both cross country and in track and earned All-America honors for her performance on the distance medley relay team. She also won the national championship in the 800 meters in both 2009 and in 2011.

Zac Blair, golf, junior

Blair is on the Ben Hogan Award watch list that goes to the nation's best collegiate golfer. He has won 12 tournaments, has 16 career top-20 finishes and was named as the Utah golfer of the year in 2009, 2010 and 2011.

Delaney Willard, softball, senior

Willard leads the team with her .440 batting average, 13 home runs and 49 RBI. She recently became just the seventh player in NCAA history to hit two grand slams in one inning.

Jennifer Hamson, women's volleyball and basketball, sophomore
Jeffrey D. Allred, Deseret News

Hamson is coming off very good performances in both basketball and in volleyball this past season. In volleyball she received All-American honorable mention honors while being named to the All-WCC first-team, leading the conference in kills with 422.

Taylor Sander, men's volleyball, sophomore
Jonathan Hardy

Sander may very well be the best-known non-football or men's basketball athlete at BYU and for good reason. He was named as the MPSF freshman of the year last season and is leading BYU this year in its bid for an NCAA championship.

Miles Batty, track and field, senior
Scott G. Winterton, Deseret News

Batty recently broke the indoor NCAA mile record by almost half a second with a time of 3:54.54. He competes in the 3,000-, 1,500- and 800-meters races for the Cougars along with his best event, the mile, where he's the defending NCAA champion.
