Looking to relocate your family to a small city? Utah and Texas might have just what you're looking for.

According to a study by Nerdwallet, Texas hosts seven of the top 20 small cities in America that cater best to the needs of families. Four of the top 20 (Syracuse, Lehi, Spanish Fork and Riverton) are in Utah.

To create the list, Nerdwallet looked at 1,030 US cities with populations more than 25,000 and less than 100,00, analyzing the local economy, population trends and educational opportunities.

Here, we've compiled Nerdwallet's complete list of the 50 best small cities in America for families.
