Best Buy will open its doors at 5 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 27, close them at 1 a.m., and then reopen them at 8 a.m. on Friday. For items that have a limited number, they will hand out tickets to customers waiting in line up to two hours before the doors open (on Thursday and Friday).

Wal-Mart will leave its doors open all day on Thanksgiving, but at specific times shoppers can get Black Friday deals if they are in the right section of the store. At 6 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 27, shoppers can pick up nine discounted family friendly items. Two hours later, at 8 p.m., there are deals on electronics. And from 6 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Friday, all CDs and some Christmas, kid, electronic and beauty items will be 30 percent off.
