Routine monitoring on May 30 revealed harmful level of microcystins, or toxins.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police later arrested a man in the incident.

The fire, which is 20 percent contained, started Thursday evening and consumed two wildland firefighting trucks. The crew had to flee.
