In addition to its new Trolley Square Cinemas that opened Wednesday, Cineplex Odeon Theaters has also reopened the Carriage Square Trolley Theater for business, now calling it Carriage Square Cinemas. The two-auditorium movie theater is now a "dollar house," a discount theater that will show recent commercial pictures for a $1 admission charge for all ages.

The Carriage Square Trolley, located at 41st South and Redwood Road (1785 W. 4120 South), has been closed since January, unable to compete as a first-run theater. The films playing there this week are this year's big Oscar-winners "The Last Emperor" and "Moonstruck."
