SALT LAKE CITY — Winter is coming … back to Utah.

I know, I know. But it’s May, right? Well, according to the National Weather Service Salt Lake City, winter is coming back to Utah.

NWS Salt Lake City is predicting wind and strong to severe thunderstorms. Oh, and mountain snow that will fall from Thursday into Friday.

The storm is forecasted to bring mountain snow above 6,500 feet falling from Friday morning into Friday night, and some accumulation is expected.
