LOGAN — Utah State football will have at least eight of its games televised this fall as the Mountain West announced its national television package Thursday.

Between CBS Sports Network and ESPN networks, 44 Mountain West football games will be distributed nationally this coming season on various platforms.

Utah State’s eight nationally televised contests will consist of five home games and three road games. Four of the matchups will appear on one of the ESPN Networks (ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU), while the other four games will be televised by CBS Sports Network.

Two of Utah State’s home games will be televised on CBS Sports Network as it hosts Colorado State on Saturday, Sept. 28, at 5:30 p.m., and Boise State on Saturday, Nov. 23, at 8:30 p.m. CBS Sports Network will also televise two of USU’s road games, including its Mountain West opener at San Diego State on Saturday, Sept. 21, at 8:30 p.m. (MT), and its game at Fresno State on Saturday, Nov. 5, at 5 p.m. (MT).

Of Utah State’s four games to appear on one of the ESPN Networks, three will be home games, as it hosts Nevada on Saturday, Oct. 19, BYU on Saturday, Nov. 2, and Wyoming on Saturday, Nov. 16. Its other game will be a road contest at Air Force on Saturday, Oct. 26.

Kickoff times and specific outlets for Utah State’s four games on ESPN will not be announced until 12 days prior to the game.

Additional broadcasts by AT&T SportsNet, Spectrum Sports (Hawai’i) and Stadium will be announced in the coming months.

Utah State will open the 2019 season on Friday, Aug. 30, at Wake Forest and host Stony Brook in its home opener on Saturday, Sept. 7. USU will also have a non-conference game at LSU on Saturday, Oct. 5, and conclude Mountain West play and the regular season at New Mexico on Saturday, Nov. 30.

Kickoff times and broadcast information for these four games will be announced at a later date.
