ST. GEORGE, Utah — Sophomore Cailyn Cardall was Dixie State’s lone representative on the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference women’s colf academic honor roll, which was announced by the league office on Wednesday.

Cardall, who carries a 3.79 GPA as an elementary education major, was also a 2018 Academic All-Pacific West Conference and WGCA All-American Scholar selection as a freshman. Cardall competed in nine of 10 season events for the Trailblazers this season and posted four top-25 finishes, highlighted by a 10th-place showing at the 2019 RMAC Championships last week.

The sophomore also placed t-11th at the Point Loma Sea Lion Invitational in February, and fired a season-low even par 72 in the second round at the RMAC tournament. She finished the 2018-19 season third on the team in scoring average at 79.39.

To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must carry a 3.30 cumulative grade point average (GPA) and must have been an active student at the institution for at least two consecutive semesters or three consecutive quarters.
