SALT LAKE CITY — Sony recently announced via the PlayStation Blog that PlayStation 4 owners will be able to download “Overcooked!” and “What Remains of Edith Finch” starting May 7.

The two games come as a part of PlayStation Plus, a $59.99 annual subscription service that enables online play and cloud saves.

Overcooked!” is a multiplayer cooking game challenging players to work together to prepare dishes while managing dangerous locations.

The game has an E rating from the ESRB for mild cartoon violence and scored a 78 on Metacritic, which indicates positive reviews across the board.

What Remains of Edith Finch” is an adventure game putting players in the role of Edith Finch, the last surviving member of the Finch family. As you explore the family’s home in the Pacific Northwest you’ll witness each relative’s final moments — each with their own unique gameplay and experiences. The ESRB rated the game T for violence, blood, drug reference and language, while the Metacritic score rests at 88.

Last month’s games — “Conan Exiles” and “The Surge” — will still be available for download until May 6.

Microsoft also recently announced four free games for Xbox owners, which include “Marooners” and “The Golf Club 2019.”
