SALT LAKE CITY — It’s official.

After weeks of teasing fans about the date April 26, Taylor Swift took to Instagram Thursday to confirm that, yes, she is dropping new music Friday.

In a video posted to her Instagram story Thursday afternoon, Swift said she and her team had commissioned a butterfly mural to be painted on a wall in Nashville and “put clues about the song and the new music in the mural.”

Swift posted a picture of herself standing in front of the mural, which was painted by Kelsey Montague, on Instagram.

@kelseymontagueart helped me pull off the best surprise clue reveal today in Nashville!!” Swift wrote in a caption on the photo. “Thank you to everyone who showed up, I’ve never been more proud of your FBI level detective skills.”

“I went on Tumblr and everybody thinks it’s not … they think it’s fake. They think it’s just, like, one of their theories,” Swift says to her father in one of the videos, referring to rumors surrounding the mural.

If you look closely at the butterfly, you’ll see hearts, flowers, cats, rainbows and stars in the butterfly’s wings. The word “Me!” is also painted in black bold letters between the wings. While it’s anyone’s guess at this point what the images hint at, we can be fairly sure that at least a single will drop Friday and more music is on the way.

According to Billboard, Swift will drop another clue about her upcoming music Thursday night when ABC airs the NFL draft during a live event.
