LOGAN – Junior Hannah Jones and sophomores Alexandra Pisareva and Alexandra Taylor earned all-Mountain West honors, as selected by the conference's head coaches and announced on Wednesday by the conference. Pisareva earned all-MW in singles, while Jones and Taylor were named all-MW in doubles.

Overall, it is Pisareva's second conference honor of her career. She joins former Aggies Nini Guensler and McKenzie Davis as the only netters to earn multiple all-MW singles honors.

Pisareva posted an 11-3 record in dual match play at the No. 1 singles spot, going 3-1 against Mountain West opponents. She clinched the Aggies' 5-2 win at San Francisco at the top spot. Pisareva also recorded Utah State's only singles wins against BYU (6-0, 6-2) and New Mexico (6-1, 7-6 (2)) at the No. 1 spot.

This is the first conference award for Jones and Taylor, as the duo paired up and posted a 6-6 dual match record, including a 5-5 mark at the No. 1 spot and 1-1 at the No. 2 spot. The tandem clinched two doubles points for the Aggies against North Dakota (6-2) and Idaho State (6-2), as well as recorded USU's only doubles win against New Mexico State (6-1) and Pacific (6-2). This is the Aggies' first doubles award since the duo of Guensler and Sabrina Demerath earned all-doubles award in 2017.

USU finished the regular season with a 11-10 mark overall, including a 2-3 ledger in Mountain West play. Freshman Sidnee Lavatai recorded the most wins during the regular season with 12 victories during dual match play, while freshmen Annaliese County and Gabrielle Dekkers both recorded nine wins.

Lavatai recorded the most victories for the Aggies on the doubles courts, posting 11 wins during the dual match season, as she went 5-1 at the No. 2 spot. The duo of Lavatai and Pisareva is currently riding a three-match winning streak and has won a team-high-tying two matches during conference play, as the pair of County and Octave have also recorded two wins in Mountain West action.
