LOGAN – Utah State's track and field teams are slated to compete at the BYU-hosted Clarence Robison Invitational this weekend, Thursday through Saturday, April 25-27.

Senior thrower Brenn Flint will compete this weekend as she leads the conference in the shot put with a toss of 16.44 meters (53-11.25). The native of Syracuse, Utah, is also sixth in the discus with a distance of 51.79 meters (169-11).

Three of the Mountain West's top five women's javelin throwers will also compete in freshman Jenny Bitner (45.30 meters/148-7), senior Stephanie Crapse (43.19 meters/141-8) and freshman Sarah Angwin (42.48 meters/139-4).

Senior Jennifer Christensen and sophomore Talie Bonds are second and third, respectively, in the high jump, while Bonds and junior Alyssa Hirschi-Swenson will compete in the heptathlon and are fourth and seventh in the conference, respectively.

On the men's side, senior Carl Jones Jr. is second in the conference in the 100-meter dash with a time of 10.59, and is tied for seventh in the 200 meters (21.71).

In the field, senior Leaugen Fray and sophomore Hunter Simonsen are tied for first in the MW in the high jump with a mark of 2.11 meters (6-11), while freshman Chandler Obray is third with a height of 2.06 meters (6-9). Fray is also fourth in the league in the long jump with a leap of 7.39 meters (24-3). Junior Kyle Brost's school-record height of 15.17 meters (49-9.25) in the triple jump leads the MW.

Two of the Mountain West's top five men's shot putters will also compete, as junior Kyle Morris leads the conference with a toss of 18.11 meters (59-5), and sophomore Josh Barclay sits second (17.41 meters/57-1.5). Morris also leads the conference in the javelin with a throw of 68.41 meters (224-5).
