Volunteers with the the Salt Lake City Mission serve a midday Easter dinner at Pioneer Park on Sunday. Utahns who are down on their luck came together to share a meal of ham, peas, potatoes and pie in the sunny weather. Some also opted to get a new haircut or a fresh manicure, courtesy of the mission. The nonprofit mission seeks to help adults and children battling poverty and provides clothing and blankets. It also runs a residential rehabilitation program for men seeking to get back on their feet.
