SALT LAKE CITY — The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints unveiled major renovation plans for the Salt Lake Temple and Temple Square which will begin at the end of the year.

The renovations will begin on Dec. 29.

Renovations are expected to last for four years. The temple would reopen in 2024.

The Church's Newsroom shared a number of photos of what the Salt Lake Temple will look like once the renovations are complete.
