SALT LAKE CITY — Someone edited a Lego set to look like Luke Skywalker’s severed hand, and Mark Hamill is having none of it.

What happened: Hamill took to Twitter Sunday to share an image of the set, which shows a Lego hand and lightsaber. The box has “Luke Skywalker’s Hand and Lightsaber” edited on the front.

Comment on this story

“Someone tell me this isn’t a real #StarWars toy. PLEASE,” Hamill wrote in his tweet.

Luke lost his hand and his lightsaber in the film “The Empire Strikes Back” while fighting his father, Darth Vader.

The response: A few fans were quick to point out that based on the Lego number, it wasn’t a real set.

Others responded to the tweet with their own favorite photoshopped "Star Wars" toys, some of them a bit more tragic than the others.

Hamill will return to the big screen as Luke Skywalker in “Star Wars: Episode IX” on Dec. 20.
