A 13-year-old boy was injured Friday after he accidentally shot himself in the leg at a Murray gun range, police said.

MURRAY — A 13-year-old boy was injured Friday after he accidentally shot himself in the leg at a Murray gun range, police said.

About 3:15 p.m., the teenager and his dad were shooting at TNT Gun Range, 5669 S. Commerce Drive, when the boy somehow shot a round into his upper leg, Murray police officer Kenny Bass said.

The teen was taken to Primary Children's Hospital. Additional information about the extent of his injury was not immediately available.

No foul play is suspected, Bass said.
