Bluffdale leaders, along with local elementary schoolchildren, celebrated the completion of a renewable energy project City Hall and fire stations No. 91 and 92.

The 500 solar panels, made possible with three Rocky Mountain Power Blue Sky grants totaling $281,826, will offset the city’s energy usage by 50 percent, according to the city. Blue Sky customers have awarded 150 renewable energy grants to community-serving organizations since 2006.
