SALT LAKE CITY — Utah baseball picked the commitment of West Valley City's Robert Macfarlane on Saturday.

Utah coach Bill Kinneberg signed the 10-year-old to a National Letter of Intent Saturday at Smith's Ballpark.

Robert was drafted by the Utes from Team IMPACT, a nonprofit organization that connects children facing serious and chronic illnesses with local college athletic teams, forming lifelong bonds and life-changing outcomes.
