SALT LAKE CITY — Disney’s president of marketing just unveiled the Chinese poster for “Avengers: Endgame” and it’s pretty epic.

The “Avengers: Endgame” Chinese poster, which you can see below, includes 29 different characters from the franchise. That includes all the heroes who are currently alive and those who have passed away.

The poster shows Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Ant-Man (Paul Rudd), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), Captain America (Chris Evans), Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo), War Machine (Don Cheadle), Captain Marvel (Brie Larson), and Okoye (Danai Gurira). Thanos (Josh Brolin) lingers in the background.

Some interesting notes: Gizmodo pointed out a few interesting tidbits about the poster.

  • The poster includes dead characters even though Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige said the dead characters wouldn’t appear in “Endgame” trailers.
  • The Chinese poster includes characters sporting new looks. For example, Nebula (Karen Gillan) is wearing a new leather jacket and Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson) appears for the first time since "Thor: Ragnarok."
  • The dead characters from “Avengers: Infinity War” appear on the poster, but grayed out.

Disney released new posters for “Avengers: Endgame” earlier this week. The posters all contain the tagline “Avenge the fallen.” The posters are a collection of alive and dead characters, which I wrote about for the Deseret News.

  • A Marvel fan created a heartbreaking “Avengers: Endgame” poster that included the characters’ final words before they disappeared from the snap, according to the Deseret News.

“Avengers: Endgame” will release its three-hour film on April 26.
