Police found charcoal briquettes in the vehicle. They did not immediately know if they were there for warmth of if the man had taken his own life. Police said they were dealing with a potential hazmat situation at the scene.
One person who appeared to have interacted with the man was taken into custody on a warrant but was released later Thursday, police said.
It was the second dead body found in the county Thursday. Earlier in the afternoon, kayakers found a man's body in Little Cottonwood Creek in Murray.
